PELVIC HEALTH THERAPY

Pelvic health therapy is a specialized form of physical therapy that focuses on treating conditions such as urinary incontinence, pelvic pain, and pelvic floor dysfunction. Our physical therapists are trained in this area and can help you get back to feeling like yourself again.

PREGNANCY & POSTPARTUM CARE

At More Physical Therapy & Pelvic Health, we offer specialized care for women during and after pregnancy. While it is common, it is not normal to have pain during pregnancy and postpartum. Addressing muscle imbalances, pelvic floor dysfunction and/or pain are important in minimizing symptoms to allow you to prioritize your little one.

ORTHOPEDIC PHYSICAL THERAPY

Orthopedic physical therapy focuses on addressing pain and the treatment of musculoskeletal injuries and conditions utilizing hands-on manipulation and treatment methods.

SPORTS INJURY REHABILITATION/ PREVENTION

Our goal is to help you return to sport or performance as quickly and safely as possible with an emphasis on preventing future injuries. Whether you are a marathon runner, an avid golfer, a weekend warrior, or simply enjoy playing soccer in the backyard with your kids, our goal is to meet you where you are at and promote a safe and functional return.

LABOR & DELIVERY PREPARATION

Gait training is a type of physical therapy that focuses on improving your ability to walk. Our physical therapists can help you improve your gait and mobility with personalized treatment plans and exercises.

PESSARY FITTING & MANAGEMENT

Dr. Erin is trained and qualified for pessary fittings and management. Pessaries are an external device that can assist with symptoms of Pelvic Organ Prolapse and Stress Urinary Incontinence.

BOWEL DYSFUNCTION

Treating pelvic floor dysfunction also incorporates bowel health. Constipation, bowel leakage and hemorrhoids are a few symptoms that are treatable by a pelvic health physical therapist.

DRY NEEDLING

When performed correctly, dry needling can be a very effective tool at alleviating pain of acute or chronic origin. Dry needling utilizes evidence based guidelines via fine needles to release myofascial trigger points, tendons and ligaments in order to stimulate a healing response in painful musculoskeletal conditions.
